How do I inquire about a sliding scale rate?
I encourage you to schedule a free consultation with me to discuss a sliding scale rate.
Please note, I have limited spots available for a sliding scale rate, however, I will always do my best to provide affordable, accessible therapy.
Do you offer direct billing?
At this time, I do not offer direct billing to insurance, however, you can submit claims for my services for reimbursement through your insurance. I provide invoices immediately after our sessions which you can then use to submit to your insurance.
If you’re unsure if services would be covered under your insurance plan, please check your coverage with your insurance provider prior to beginning sessions.
What platform do you use for virtual sessions?
I use Jane App for all scheduling and billing. If you’re having trouble getting connected, take a look at Jane’s video troubleshooting guide here.
What does being a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) mean?
A Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) is a qualified psychotherapy provider through the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). My Qualifying status means that I have completed a Master’s degree program, and am working towards the required hours in order to be able to complete the registration exam.
In the meantime, this means all my services are supervised by a Registered Psychotherapist who has extensive experience providing individual and couples therapy, in addition to supervising other psychotherapists. Being supervised simply means that I have access to consult with an experienced psychotherapist, my supervisor will not be in the (virtual) room with us!
