My approach to therapy is integrative, relational, and psychodynamic.
This means that weโll make space to explore how past experiences, relationships, and the roles weโve taken on shape how we see ourselves and connect with others. While also supporting new ways of connecting, understanding ourselves, and learning practical tools for meaningful change.
Depending on each clientโs needs, I draw from:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
โ Helps you recognize and shift unhelpful thoughts and behaviour patterns.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
โ Supports you in understanding and living by your values, while making room for difficult emotions.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
โ Teaches practical skills to manage intense emotions, build distress tolerance, and improve relationships through mindfulness and emotional regulation.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
โ Helps you identify and understand emotional patterns that affect how you relate to yourself and others.
Narrative Therapy
โ Examines how meaning is derived from personal narratives, and how these narratives can be reinterpreted over time.
Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)
โ Focuses on your strengths and whatโs working to create positive change and come up with solutions.
Mindfulness
โ Helps you slow down, notice whatโs happening in the present, and respond with intention.
You may come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, unsure of what you need, or simply exhausted from carrying too much for too long.
Maybe you find yourself overthinking the same situations. Maybe you are always the person others rely on. Maybe you are beginning to recognize patterns in your relationships, family, or sense of self that you no longer want to carry forward.
You do not need to arrive with the right words or a clear plan.
My goal is to offer a warm, grounded, and non-judgemental space where you can slow down and begin making sense of what you are experiencing.
Together, we may explore past experiences, relationship patterns, emotions, thoughts, coping strategies, and the ways you have learned to protect yourself. We may also focus on practical tools that help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself in everyday life.
I believe therapy should make room for both vulnerability and strength. Growth does not need to be rushed, and meaningful change often begins when we feel safe enough to understand ourselves with greater compassion.

One of the things I value most about being a therapist is being trusted with the parts of someoneโs story that may feel difficult to share elsewhere. I believe healing often begins when we are given the space to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and explore what we are carrying without judgement. My philosophy of therapy is grounded in the belief that people do not need to have everything figured out in order to begin. Vulnerability and strength can exist together, and growth can happen gradually, at a pace that feels safe and meaningful.
